are NO WHERE to be found in Louisiana..
i brought this up to the group earlier in the trip and Ben asked
"what do you need toilet seat covers for?"
i was pretty confused because i assumed it was obvious..
i dont want to sit on a dirty toilet seat with another persons' waste on it.
Rachel later on said i know why they dont have them here.
( i thought she had gotten an official answere)
She says "it is to hot and humid here and they will stick to you when you get up"
for a moment i thought ya that makes sense..
then realized where most bathrooms are at.
they are inside..
most places here are air conditioned inside and completely disproves that theory..
Trust me after 200 kids or so use a bathroom all day long
(i am talking about the kids while at camp)
you will want a toilet seat cover.. or go into the bathroom with some cleaning supplies prepared to clean off the toilet..
so to any of you germaphobes out there who are entertaining the thought of visiting Louisiana considered yourself warned..

That's alright cause Toilet Seat Covers aren't really necessary.
As Columbia University's Health Promotion Program sums up: "Because toilet seats are not major culprits in spreading disease, paper or plastic seat covers offer little more than peace of mind." In fact, you have more to fear from bathroom door handles and faucets than from commodes.
So don't worry about placing your bum on the toilet! Cause germs can't live there anyways! :D

The very image of what a toilet seat looks like after 200 kids use it is very sobering. My heart goes out to you Josiah. I've been a hoverer for as long as I can remember, it's the only way...

there arent toilet seat covers in most places in pennsylvania either .. I hate it!! Im with you on that one josie! hope you guys are doing well and having fun :)
