Chchchcheck us out!

A photo update of our first few days here...
the plane trip was uneventfuluntil we met jason morant on our flight.for the first two weeks the girls are staying with mr rodney and mrs bernadette sims at their awesome pad. we are so blessed to have these awesome families who are just willing to host us for weeks at a time.church on sunday was an experience. there are two separate churches that share the building and share pastor alfred. here we are outside the church.for the first service the guys helped out with children's church. alisha and sarah were with the preschoolers, and jane and i were in the nursery. every morning our breakfast has included grits. I am not quite sure how i feel about this meal, but here in Louisiana they sure do love them. we started training/ orientation for camp and today some of us got cpr/first aid certified.
the church also runs a drug rehab program and our guys played a little bball with them after training.the weather today was beautiful so we walked to a park and being mature 19-20 year olds we played on the swings and had a photo shoot. so honestly one of my fears going into this trip was the possibility that we might not mesh as a team. but seriously i had nothing to worry about. we are five different people with different strengths and weaknesses and we just complement each other so well. and the Lord has given us opportunities to utilize our gift in different ways.
so thanks for praying! i think i can speak for the team when i say our trip has been da bomb so far.

Is grits one or two syllables?
